The uv sensor SI 1 is a robust uv measuring sensor for use in conjunction with the HI 1 hand-held unit. It measures the intensity of uv lamps for short-interval measurements. The uv sensor contains a measuring cell which is built to withstand temperatures of up to 50°C.

This device is particularly useful in a fixed source curing environment where an accurate peak intensity reading of UV Visible, A B or C is required. The sensor is placed in the area where the UV intensity is to be measured and a direct readout in mW/cm² can be seen on the connected HI1 hand held digital display.

A range of calibrations are available so the device can measure uv intensity from low pressure and medium pressure lamps as well as UV LED arrays. There is also a ‘Full uv’ option for broad spectrum uv measurement.

Please note that only one hand-held (HI 1) unit is required for multiple sensors as the calibration is made within the sensor not the hand held reading device.
