UV Applications

Since the discovery of ultraviolet light by Johann Wilhelm Ritter in 1801, UV has become an integral part of an ever-increasing number of applications. This can broadly be divided into three areas: UV Curing, UV Disinfection and Solar Simulation. Within each, there are hundreds of unique processes which require UV lamps. See below for more information about some of these applications and how they relate to the products that we produce for our customers around the world. Our business is built on embracing the challenge to provide solutions.

Need help deciding? We have extensive experience in many applications that use UV. We also regularly partner with R & D departments within business, military, medical and educational institutions developing new solutions utilizing UV technology. Contact our technical team on +44 (0)1582 805410 or email info@uv-technik.co.uk to discuss how we can support or advise you in your UV journey.
