The UV measuring device MUV2.4 WR when used in conjunction with a UV sensor is designed as a reference measuring unit according to DVGW W294 and/or ÖNORM M5873. It is designed to check UV systems used for drinking water disinfection. For this purpose, the reference sensor is put into the measuring window instead of the system sensor. The sensors have a 1.3 m long connection cable with M12 round connector (IP65). A robust metal housing with degree of protection IP65 protects the device from external influences.
It is powered by rechargeable batteries, has an LCD display with backlight, automatic measuring range switching and is easy to operate using three buttons. It is possible to supply / charge via a plug-in power supply and to connect a data logger or a computer. Typical users of these devices are system designers or manufacturers and technicians or operators of ballast water systems.
* Please note, the KUV device has the additional functionality to calibrate digital sensors in the field.
