- For short time UV intensity measurements
- Measurement of UV intensity in mW/cm² respectively W/m²
- Values can be displayed on the handheld HI 1 (sold separately)
The UV sensor SI 1 is a robust UV measuring sensor for use in conjunction with the HI 1 hand-held unit. It measures the intensity of UV lamps for short-interval measurements. The UV sensor contains a measuring cell which is built to withstand temperatures of up to 50°C. This device is particularly useful in a fixed source curing environment where an accurate peak intensity reading of UV Visible, A B or C is required. The sensor is placed in the area where the UV intensity is to be measured and a direct readout in mW/cm² can be seen on the connected HI 1 hand held digital display.
A range of calibrations are available, so the device can measure UV intensity from low pressure and medium pressure lamps as well as UV LED arrays. There is also a ‘Full UV’ option for broad spectrum UV measurement. Please note that only one hand-held (HI 1) unit is required for multiple sensors as the calibration is made within the sensor, not the hand held reading device.
