This specially designed kit is used for lamp breakage and safely containing the mercury spillage. UV lamps contain a small amount of mercury (normally less than a typical fluorescent lamp). If a lamp breaks, the resulting mercury spillages should be contained and safely cleared away. As a precaution, it is advisable that all users of UV lamps should have the UV lamp spillage and safety kit close to their UV curing station or workplace and be familiar with its operation.
