uv technik has developed the UV-MAX-D for the installation into segments of ventilation systems. Its purpose is to disrupt and prevent the spread of viruses, bacteria, fungus and spores within affected systems. The device is well suited to large air volumes. The device contains a high output medium pressure lamp that will be effective within climate control systems that are dark, humid and subject to temperature changes. The UV Max D is also ozone-free come with a separate controller unit and ballast. Installation is possible through the outside of an air duct making it quick and simple.
